Basic Fall Arrest (Fall Arrest level 1)
On completion of this Programme learners will be able to explain and perform fall arrest techniques when working at height.

Basic Fall Arrest and Rescue (Fall Arrest level 2)
This course enables technicians to safely climb fixed structures and perform emergency rescues if necessary.

Fall Arrest Supervisor
This Unit Standard equips technicians with the skills necessary to develop site-specific fall protection plans and to perform advanced fall arrest rescues.

US 229999 – 3 Days Course
Fall Arrest Rescue
After completing the assessment, candidates will be able to explain fall arrest rescue principles, perform rope maneuvers, select equipment for advanced rescues, explain equipment inspection requirements, and conduct fall arrest rescues.
Requirements: To gain entry, you need a medical certificate, a certified copy of your ID or Passport, Fall Arrest Technician Level 2 certification (US IDs 229995 and 229998), and Rope Access Technician Level 1 certification (US ID 230000).

Fall Protection Plan Development
Upon successful assessment completion, candidates will be able to: conduct a risk assessment of the worksite for height work, demonstrate knowledge of fall arrest rescue equipment, perform advanced fall arrest rescues, and develop fall protection and arrest plans.
Requirements: For entry, you are required to provide a medical certificate, a certified copy of your ID or Passport, and certification for Fall Arrest Technician Level 2 – US ID 229998 & 229995. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of how to use a laptop and access to internet.

Climbing Equipment Inspection and Management
After completing the assessment, candidates will be able to: inspect and assemble fall arrest equipment, understand its range of use, know relevant regulations, explain international/local standards and best practices, conduct three-monthly inspections per manufacturer recommendations, explain the purchase process, and discard equipment following proper procedures.

Rope Rigging
Executing rigging, slinging, lifting, lowering, cross hauling, and transporting equipment both diagonally and horizontally using rigging equipment while working at height in a fall arrest or rope access environment.
